Car has 145k on it; homeboy cites the 60k mile service being done at a local dealer. Not even sure what to say to that.

My favorite ad recently was in a Z3 Coupe fb group I’m in. Started talking about how his coupe was #2 made of 19 in the combo of oxford green over beige without a sunroof for the sp ecific year of 2001.

Just being a color combination doesn’t make it valuable lol. He didn’t even have the miles in the main description, but he did have 1 of 19 oxford green 3.0 sunroofless coupes of 2001. Like if you’re gonna cite that spec you have to at least do all years lol. I asked if we were becoming corvette guys in the comment section and he was not too happy and said I must not be a real enthusiast of these cars lmao. Funniest part is my car is oxford green

So, it was serviced at least once, maybe 8-10 years and 85,000 miles ago. Sounds like a well maintained cream puff t o me.

You just described every Corvette owner ever.

2005, driven 6,000 miles in 14 years, never in the rain, kept in a carpeted climate controlled garage under a cover, because its one of only 9,275 made that year in that color combination and with those wheels, and is going to fund the grandkids’ college when it sells at auction.

I’m sure there’s an explanation. Possibly :

1) “The 60k service” was not actually performed at 60k, but at some more recent mileage.

2) The car WAS serviced at 60k, but that’s the most recent time it’s been serviced. Buyer beware.

It reads like he made sure to include where he did the service at 60k as opposed to doing the 60k service after 100k+ miles. I don’t know; the writing isn’t that clear about it .

Well you can do multiple 60k services. Usually they call that a 120k, but still
